1st Technical Meeting Support (May 7th–June 4th, 2026)

May – June 2026 Technical Meeting Support

During May and June, the project completed 5 technical meeting visits to support regional clusters.

  • May 2026: 3 visits were conducted at Onlong Tunaot, OU TaBorng, and Kom Viel.
  • June 2026: 2 visits were conducted at Preach Teat and Bong Kontuot.

Across these 5 visits, a total of 93 participants were reached. These sessions focused on empowering CLIP4 teachers to demonstrate “Learning through Play” activities—such as the “Five Monkeys” storytelling and rhythm games—to their peers. While participants showed high motivation and appreciation for the new resources, staff noted recurring challenges in remote areas, specifically a lack of technical equipment like laminators for material production

Preparation for Workshop 2 (June)

Preparation for the 2nd workshop was mostly completed in June.

  • This time, we first asked teachers what materials they needed for this time of year and planned the workshop content around their answers.
  • We invited a JICA volunteer based at Battambang City Kindergarten, nearing the end of her 2-year service, to share the ideas that worked well during her time there.
  • Combining her ideas with the teachers’ requests, we created 10 new Activity Sheets for her session.
  • We also created 1 new activity that’s already in the MoE curriculum book but had no illustrations — teachers wanted a visual version.
  • Plus all the admin work (venue, invitations, banner, schedule, questionnaire) to make the workshop happen.
